Certified Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing Trainer

Who is it for?

Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing (TMW) is a simplified, 12 or 16 sequence flow of movements that can be done standing, sitting or visualising so it is suitable for most. With its origins in Tai Chi and Chi Kung, it was developed by Clinical Psychologist Dr David Quinn and Tai Chi Master Richard Farmer.

Fit and well?

If you are fit and well, TMW can help you to live in the present, to mange stress, to find calm and inner confidence. This will enable you to go out into the world with a sense of ease and deal with life's inevitable challenges from a better place.

Living with a long-term medical condition?

TMW has significant benefits if you are living with long-term health conditions. The combination of flowing movements and fully present mind state will help you to manage stress, as well as improving sleep, your mobility, mood and many other aspects of your life.

It can improve your life in many ways and has a good evidence base to back this up. TMW is frequently prescribed through social prescription in NHS Wales and with options to practise it in standing, sitting and through visualisation, it's suitable for most. Please see here for more information
